Chris Kearns is the Acting Commissioner of the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources. He has been with the office for over 10 years and in state service for 11 years. He oversees a staff of 14 people who help lead Rhode Island to a clean, affordable, reliable, and equitable future. Chris holds a B.S. in Environmental Economics and Management from the University of Rhode Island and an Associate of arts General studies from the Community College of Rhode Island.
