Robert R. Scott is a Commissioner of the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission, appointed by Governor Lynch and confirmed by the New Hampshire Executive Council in March of 2012. He previously worked on environmental related issues, originally appointed by Governor Benson as Director of New Hampshire's Department of Environmental Services Air Resources Division, serving from 2003 to 2012. Prior to this, he worked in various staff positions at the Department of Environmental Services.
Commissioner Scott is active in the Air National Guard, currently commanding a combat communication squadron and previously commanding an engineering and installation squadron. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University. Originally a Governor’s designee to RGGI from 2003 through 2006, Commissioner Scott re-joined the RGGI, Inc. Board of Directors in June 2012.
Commissioner Scott resides in Bow, New Hampshire with his wife and two daughters.
