As shown in the Market Monitor Report for Auction 19:
-
88 percent of the CO2 allowances auctioned in Auctions 1-19 were purchased by electric generators and their corporate affiliates;
-
90 percent of the CO2 allowances in circulation will be held by compliance entities and their affiliates following the settlement of Auction 19.
