The RGGI States publish auction results in a report on each CO2 Allowance Auction.

This page includes summary comparisons of auction data. Detailed reports on each auction are available below.

As shown in the Market Monitor Report for Auction 26:

  • 78 percent of the CO2 allowances auctioned in Auctions 1-26 were purchased by compliance entities and their affiliates;
  • 81 percent of the CO2 allowances in circulation will be held by compliance entities and their affiliates following the settlement of Auction 26.
